Patient Representative Group
The Patient Representative Group (PRG) has a membership of around 12 patients who meet regularly with a view to improving communications, discussing concerns and looking at areas of service that can be improved.
In addition the group explores ways in which patients may be encouraged to improve their health and wellbeing. Of special interest is how patients can achieve this by a willingness to take responsibility, adopt a healthier lifestyle and to work together with their healthcare professionals.
Representatives from the Fairmore Medical Practice Team will provide a link at the meetings and liaise directly with the practice.
The PRG seeks to be proactive in listening to patients' ideas and working positively with the medical team.
If you would like to become involved in any way by joining the group or our Virtual Patient Reference Group, would like to suggest ideas for projects that the PRG could investigate or would like to comment about the services currently provided, please contact Fairmore Medical practice reception.
